Larry Gene Bennett born April 1, 1948 passed away peacefully on February 22, 2013 at the Atlanta VA Medical Center. He served our country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Larry taught those who knew him to appreciate what we have for there are those who have it worse. He was a Christian man and loved to share his own testimony and how trusting in Our Lord will get you through anything . He is preceded in death by his father Andrew Bennett and mother Ruby Moore Bennett . He is survived by many cherished friends. He will be laid to rest at The Georgia National Cemetery Tuesday March 5, 2013 at 1pm with Military Honors . A celebration of life service will be held at Grayson United Methodist Church on Friday March 8th at 5 PM. Arrangements by Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 300 Simonton Rd.
