NIX, CLYDE ALLEN - Clyde Allen Nix, age 76 of Loganville passed away, Thursday, February 4, 2010. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, February 8, 2010 in the Snellville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Seth Wortman officiating. Burial Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Grayson. A Computer Analyst and a member of Mt. Carmel Christian Church in Stone Mountain, Mr. Nix was a lifetime resident of the Atlanta area, retired from The State of Georgia and was an Air Force Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mattie Pickard & Lanice Eugene Nix, Sr., sister, Ann Smallwood, brothers, Bob Nix and Richard Nix. Mr. Nix is survived by: Brothers & Sisters-in-law: Lanice “Gene” & Margie Nix, Jr , Duluth; Neil & Jan Nix, Dawsonville; Riley & Annette Nix, Stone Mountain; Sister & Brother-in-law: Madeline & Larry Lester, West Palm Beach, FL; Sisters-in-law: Hilda Nix, Anne Nix, Several Nieces & Nephews. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Saturday, February 6, 2010 and from 2-4 PM, Sunday, February 7, 2010 at the Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 2246 Wisteria Drive, Snellville, Georgia 30078. 770-979-5010.
