BAKER- Ted W. Baker, age 53 of Monroe, passed away Monday, December 21, 2009. A Memorial Service will be Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 2:30 PM at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery, Monroe with Rev. Brad Waters, Chaplin of Walton Co. Sheriffs Office and Brian Harmon, Chaplin Assistant officiating. Mr. Baker was a member of Campton United Methodist Church, a member of Campton Masonic Lodge # 566 and also a Shriner. He was employed as a firefighter for Walton County Fire Department for 20 yrs. Mr. Baker was a Deputy Coroner for Walton Co. 1999-2008 and became the Coroner in 2009. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Floyd Coleman Baker & mother, Martha Ann Baker. He is survived by his wife Dianne Jackson Baker; Children: Melanie Baker, Atlanta, Jason Baker, Monroe; Sister: Pat & Chet Holliday, Statham; Sisters-in-law: Shirley Sloan, Susan Jackson, both of Austell; Sisters-in-law & Brothers-in-laws: Esther & Lee Kirk, Good Hope; Steve & Wanda Jackson, Daytona, FL. and many nieces & nephews.
