CARR - Elizabeth Hope Carr, age 72 of Monroe, formerly of Jackson, MS, passed away December 6, 2009. Mrs. Carr was a graduate of Central High School in Jackson, MS. She worked over forty years in mortgage banking, was an excellent pianist and a dedicated Ole Miss fan. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law: Ann and Tom Martin of Monroe; Susan and John Rosenkranz of Monroe; son and daughter-in-law: Bobby and Wanda Ammons of Dacula; brother and sister-in-law: Billy and Charlotte Hunter of Houston, TX; six grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. A time of celebration will be held at the home of Tom and Ann Martin on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 from 6 until 8 PM at 2550 Dewey Hogan Rd., Monroe, GA 30656. A memorial service will be held at 3:30 PM Thursday, December 10, 2009 at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel, in Jackson, MS with friends being received from 2:30 PM until service time.
