BROACH - Jones Alton Broach, age 80 of Monroe, passed away August 11, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Friday, August 14, 2009 in the Monroe Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Draper and Rev. Brant Callaway officiating. Interment will be in Campton United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mr. Broach attended Campton United Methodist Church and was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Tom and Hugh Ed Broach; Sister: Billie Rowden. He is survived by his wife: Dorothy Hataway Broach of Monroe; son and daughter-in-law: Ray and Pam Broach of Monroe; son: Randy Broach of Monroe; sisters: Hilda Cochran and Jean Jones, both of Monroe; Sara Rice of Hoschton; Joan Hataway of Winterville; grandchildren: Shannon and Jill Broach of Monroe; Steven Broach of Monroe; great grandchildren: Tyson, Lee, Luke Broach; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law: Linda and Tommy Parker, Betty Hataway , Jane Broach, all of Monroe; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-9 PM Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 823 E. Spring St., Monroe, GA 30655 (770)267-2594.
