BOWEN, GEORGE “BUG” - George “Bug” Bowen, age 58 of Dacula passed away Saturday, May 16, 2009. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 19, 2009 in the Lawrenceville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Don Pennington officiating. Burial Rock Springs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Dacula, GA. Mr. Bowen was a member of Metro Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his father, George Verlon Bowen, Sr., mother, Ida V. Bowen, half-brother, Tommy L. Blankenship. He is survived by his Wife of 42 years: Annette Bowen; Children: Jody Bowen, Shane & Paula Bowen, Amy & Gary Majors, all of Dacula; Grandchildren: Jonathan Bowen, Emily Bowen, Stephanie Bowen, Bradley Bowen, Garrison Majors, Clare Majors; Sisters & Brothers-in-law: Jo Ann Hammett, Alice Bowen, Evon Kimbrel, Gail & Leroy Cheatham, all of Auburn; Jane & Tommy Simonton, Lawrenceville; Bernice & Scott Combs, Acworth; Melissa & Alan Puckett, Pendergrass; Several Nieces, Nephews & Cousins also survive.
